Credit Application Consent & Authorization

By submitting this credit application to First Nations Fund Canada, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Consent and Authorization terms. If you do not agree, please do not submit this form.
1. Authorization to Obtain Credit Information
I authorize First Nations Fund Canada and its authorized financial partners to obtain, verify, and review my credit information from recognized credit reporting agencies, including Equifax and TransUnion, for the purpose of assessing my eligibility for financial assistance, credit, or related programs.
I understand that this process may involve soft or hard credit inquiries, and that submission of this application does not guarantee approval.
2. Collection and Use of Personal Information
I consent to the collection, storage, and use of my personal and financial information, including but not limited to:
- Full legal name
- Band / First Nation name
- Date of birth
- Address
- SIN
- Employment and financial information
This information will be used solely for the purpose of reviewing and processing my application.
3. Disclosure of Information
I understand and agree that my information may be shared with:
- Financial institutions or lenders involved in the evaluation process
- Partner dealerships or organizations participating in the program
- Authorized service providers required to process my application
All information will be handled securely and in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.
4. Accuracy of Information
I confirm that all information provided in this application is true, complete, and accurate. I understand that providing false, incomplete, or misleading information may result in denial of my application or cancellation of services.
5. Consent to Contact (CASL Compliance)
I consent to be contacted by First Nations Fund Canada via phone, email, or SMS regarding my application status, documentation requests, program updates, or related services.
I understand that I may withdraw this consent at any time.
6. No Guarantee of Funding or Approval
I acknowledge that submitting this application does not guarantee approval of funding, credit, or financial assistance. All decisions are made at the discretion of First Nations Fund Canada and its financial partners.
7. Limitation of Liability
I acknowledge that First Nations Fund Canada, its partners, and affiliates are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the submission of this application or the evaluation process.
8. Governing Law
This Consent and Authorization shall be governed by the laws of Canada and the applicable Province, and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of jurisdiction.
